Behind the blog
How it all started
I have been on my health journey for as long as I can remember.
I look back at my journey and remember how challenging it has been through all the different chapters in life. The fluctuations in my body, mind and spirit. The multiple health challenges I faced and how I overcame them.
All the things from getting married and starting a family to adult responsibilities and watching my body and mind change through these phases.
My journey started with being obsessed about food. I started to learn about nutrition and how I can make recipes healthier and how specific foods affect your body and gut.
That lead me into the fitness world. I hadn’t ever been a person who intentionally works out and never really liked to do it. Yes, I am serious. But I was determined to change how I felt, so I decided to put in the work and realized that I loved the benefits of fitness and how it made me feel.
I have tried almost every single diet that is out there haha. I love to experiment and have my own experiences through food, fitness and science-backed nutrition and wellness insights. I enjoy the process of learning how things tick.
I got a certification in health coaching and personal training and have been helping others like you on their health and wellness journey.
I am going to share my knowledge and experiences the best I can so I can inspire, educate, and help you on your journey to a healthier you!
